Lauren Lopez

Lauren Lopez, a 6-year-old girl from the Valley, was receiving treatment at the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston for cancer when her temporary Houston home was burglarized. Among items taken were camcorders and a laptop with family photos and home videos.

The Corvette Owner's Club of Houston held a party for Lauren in February and replaced many of the stolen items.

Lauren lost her battle with cancer on June 14, 2006.
